Geannuleerd: 18 – 20 maart, Groningen: Israeli Apartheid Week

Update: dit evenement gaat niet door vanwege de coronamaatregelen

Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) is a global annual event which seeks to raise awareness about the Apartheid character of Israel and build support for the growing Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement demanding an end to Israeli violations of Palestinian rights and international law.
IAW takes place around 21 March – the UN declared International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination -commemorating the 1960 Sharpeville massacre during the height of South African Apartheid. IAW 2020 will be held from 16 – 21 March for the 15th consecutive year.
This year’s theme: United Against Racism highlights the fact that the Palestinian struggle against Israeli oppression and Apartheid is embedded in the wider struggle against racism and oppression worldwide.

Decolonize Groningen will present a three-day program of public events and workshops from 18 – 20 March.

All public events and workshops will take place in English and are free of charge (donations welcome!)
However, prior registration for the workshops is required via: [email protected]
