We hebben jouw steun nodig om ervoor te zorgen dat de Algemene Vergadering van de VN gehoor geeft aan de Palestijnse eis voor vrijheid, gerechtigheid en gelijkheid!

De 76e zitting van de Algemene Vergadering van de Verenigde Naties begint op 14 september en vertegenwoordigers van regeringen van over de hele wereld zullen zich verzamelen op het VN-hoofdkwartier in New York voor #UNGA76.

Destijds veroordeelde de Algemene Vergadering van de VN de apartheid in zuidelijk Afrika als een bedreiging voor de internationale veiligheid en als een flagrante schending van het Handvest van de Verenigde Naties en het recht op zelfbeschikking van volkeren onder koloniale en buitenlandse overheersing. Het riep alle staten op om de militaire, economische, culturele en diplomatieke betrekkingen met Zuid-Afrika te beëindigen en richtte een speciaal VN-comité en -centrum op om apartheid te helpen uitroeien.

Het is hoog tijd voor de VN om hetzelfde te doen met de Israëlische apartheid.
